From England to Israel
I grew up in London, England and moved to Tel Aviv, Israel at the ripe old age of 19. I moved here it to fulfill my Zionistic belief that all Jews belong here in Israel and they need to come home. The move came following the summer of 2002 where I spent it in Israel volunteering in the nation ambulance service, Magen David Adom. After my time on the ambulances came to an end, I returned to England only to realize that this was my time to move back to Israel. Within two months I was back on Israeli soil as an "olah chadasha", a new citizen of Israel.

Joining the IDF
I enlisted in the Israeli Defense Force, the IDF, in September of 2002. When I arrived in the recruitment office the soldiers laughed at me and told me that I didn't need to enlist and I should go home. With a huge smile on my face, I refused to budge until they let me join the IDF. Being that my parents and siblings all lived in London, I was considered a "chayelet bodeda" which means a lonely soldier. Over the next two years, I spent it teaching English to the Israeli Air force on different air force bases all over the country.

Love and Marriage
I was discharged from the IDF in the spring of 2005. I currently live right outside Tel Aviv with my husband Ron, a Magen David Adom medic and driver. We met in the Bat Yam stationhouse in the summer of 2005 through a close friend of mine and were recently married in March 2006.

My passion for Arts
I have always felt very passionate about art and creating personal objects for the home. A typical gift to a friend or a family member would be a personal painting or some other decorative item for the house. Currently I am working and painting and planning to attend university for the arts in the nearby future.
